I just had to share a recent turquoise purchase... All from Nevada, and mostly boulder turquoise, one of my favorite materials to work with. So keep an eye out for new work to be arriving in my etsy shop as well as my local galleries!
I can't wait to get my hands into this stuff!
A few completed pieces from the past couple of years...
and a lot more here:
Absolutely gorgeous! You will make wonderous things...
ReplyDeleteOh you lucky woman! I wish I could get my hands on pieces like that!
ReplyDeletewendy, emma, if only I could clone myself I might be able to make a dent in all of it!
ReplyDeleteWhile it’s true that I love turquoise in any season, I’ve been particularly drawn to it as a balm for these grey Connecticut winters. Lately I’ve been dreaming of the pristine turquoise waters of St. John’s, where I’ll be vacationing next month. Along with the vibrant Caribbean, I like to visualize delicate sandals, luscious beach-inspired interiors and cool turquoise jewelry against freshly sun-kissed skin.
ReplyDeleteok. now I'm jealous...
