Thanks to my friend Ellie, who gathered these lovely stones for me while on one of her recent trips to unwind at the coast! Below is her ring, which became the protype for the above grouping.
a little starfish on the band
Each ring is as unique as the agates it showcases.
I'll have these rings with me at Art in the High Desert in a couple of weeks. If people like them, I'll be making more for my etsy shop!

ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful. We are going up to Portland in late September, hopefully spending some time at the beach...maybe I'll find some gems!
ReplyDeleteOh! I love these rings! I grew up in the Pacific NW and spent many blissful hours throughout my life searching for agates on the Oregon Coast. I remember my grandmother had an enormous jar full of agates that she collected over the course of her lifetime, too. Seeing these gorgeous rings brings backs the best memories for me and surprises me to see them set in such clean and modern jewelry. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at your show in Bend! I bet you will do very well with this new work!
Kendra, how cool, I didn't know that! So you can totally relate to the pleasure of agate hunting at the coast! :)
